We're all in this together.

Paul and Renee Haas's Campaign

Please join me in raising funds for United Hatzalah of Israel. I am doing this in honor of Rosh Hashana.

Message to sponsors:

As we think about a new year and ask for more life, I was thinking nothing would be more meaningful and greater merit than giving life to others.  This is why I am taking on this campaign to raise the funds for 100 sets of epi-pens, a critical medicine to respond to potentially lethal allergic reactions. Through this campaign, we can ensure many more first responder medics are equipped with this lifesaving medicine.  See below for more or see the video and join me in giving the gift of life this Rosh Hashana by sponsoring an epi-pen set or many!   Each set is $120.

Did you know that millions of severe allergy sufferers are at high risk of going into anaphylactic shock, a serious allergic reaction that can cause death within minutes? The severe reaction can be treated with an EpiPen, a pen-like auto-injector that is used to deliver the lifesaving medication epinephrine.

Many allergy patients don't carry, or forget to carry their EpiPens with them at all times. In addition, people don't always know they are allergic to food and they find out only when they eat that food, completely unprepared for a medical emergency! In the case of sudden anaphylactic shock, these patients are completely dependent on the timely arrival of emergency services.

Most of our 5,000 medics do not have EpiPens in their medical kits. Those that do have them purchased it themselves but until now, United Hatzalah has not been able to provide EpiPens to all of our volunteer medics.

This needs to change immediately! Every medic should have 2 kits on them at all times. Every kit contains 2 EpiPens - one for a child and one for an adult.

Please help today and donate EpiPens for our medics here at United Hatzalah so they can have the supplies they need to save lives!
