Over the weekend as search and rescue operations entered their hundredth hour the United Hatzalah team in coordination with the IDF saved two more lives. Bringing the number of lives saved over the course of the mission to 15. After completing their mission the team returned safely to Israel on Sunday.
We salute the first responders whose dedication to saving lives knows no boundaries.
Waking up to the news of the devastating earthquake that has affected Turkey and Syria, with shocks felt as far as Cyprus and even Israel, United Hatzalah has decided to rapidly dispatch volunteer paramedics, doctors, and medics as well as top volunteers from our Search and Rescue Units to assist in the most devastated areas of Turkey.
To support this mission, we ask that you partner with us and donate to this important rescue effort motivated by the ideals of Tikkun Olam, making the world a better place for everyone.
Since 2015, United Hatzalah has recognized the need to provide assistance around the globe in addition to its ongoing activities in Israel. We have provided much-needed humanitarian aid and assistance to people who’ve suffered from natural disasters, terrorist attacks, or international conflicts such as the war in Ukraine.
The organization includes in its ranks experts in the field of disaster management as well as emergency medical personnel, search and rescue teams, and a fully-integrated Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit which specializes in providing psychological care and emotional stabilization to people adversely affected by such events.
Previous missions include:
2015: Nepal earthquake.
2017: Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Harvey.
2018: Pittsburgh Tree of Life synagogue shooting.
2021: Surfside building collapse.
2022: War in Ukraine, Hurricane Fiona, Hurricane Ian.
Thank you for the support. Be safe!

Founded in 2006, United Hatzalah has grown to become the largest independent, non-profit, nationally recognized and fully-volunteer emergency medical services (EMS) organization in Israel, responding to over 2,000 emergency calls a day. United Hatzalah's 6,500 medics, paramedics, and doctors create a web of emergency first responders, each connected to a GPS-based dispatch system which, together with our innovative transportation solutions, provides lifesaving aid faster than any other EMS organization in the world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
United Hatzalah has democratized access to emergency medical services by providing its services free of charge and has improved victim outcomes by getting first responders to the scene of an emergency three times faster than an ambulance. Our volunteers, spotted at every medical emergency, have been dubbed 'Angels in Orange' after their trademark orange vests.
