Please join me in raising funds for United Hatzalah of Israel. I am doing this in memory of Bubby Pearl and Papa Finkelstein, Harvey and Carol Pearlman, Zavel Pearlman, Bubby Chana and Zaidy David, Bubby Miriam and Zaidy Hillel.

Dear family and friends,

As an Oleh Chadash and a recently released lone soldier, I have created a special unbreakable bond with the people of Israel. After witnessing terror attacks and falling rockets, I realized what an important role emergency medical services play here. I decided that rather than just thanking those that dedicate themselves to saving lives, it was time for me to take the next step and become an EMT myself. Upon completing my EMT course and in memory of my great grandparents, Pearl and Bernie Finkelstein a”h, Bubby Chana and Zaidy David a”h, Bubby Miriam and Zaidy Hillel a”h, my grandparents, Harvey and Carol Pearlman a”h, and my uncle Zavel a”h, I am setting out on a goal to raise enough money for a United Hatzalah E-bike, fully equipped with a trauma bag, defibrillator, essentially everything found in an ambulance except for a stretcher. Please consider donating to this important cause and join me in saving lives.

Here are some important numbers you need to know: 

9-25 minutes: the average response time of an ambulance in Israel.

3-5 minutes: the amount of time it takes brain damage to begin due to lack of oxygen to the brain.

90 seconds: the average response time on a Hatzalah Ebike in large cities.

1 minute: in CPR cases, the chance of survival decreases by 10% each minute.

United Hatzalah, with its innovation of alternate ways of travel has the ability to increase chances of survival by 75% in CPR cases!
