United Hatzalah East Jerusalem Volunteer's Campaign

Please join me in raising funds for United Hatzalah of Israel. I am doing this in honor of a very dedicated volunteer.

Message to sponsors:

On March 1, 2020 United Hatzalah of Israel received a call, a woman screaming “Save me I am burning”. Her sister grabbed the phone and explained that a gasoline bottle fell in the kitchen and a fire flared. We immediately sent care and social workers from our Psychotrauma Unit to talk with the children and family as this is a traumatic experience which can certainly cause PTSD. Her entire home burned down and she was sent to Hadassah Ein Kerem for 41 days to deal with the burning. Thank G-d, she has survived and is now in rehab, however, 35% of her body is covered with third and fourth-degree burns, and she has a long road for recovery ahead with a huge financial burden.

When asked where she has the strength to handle her situation she replied “I woke up in intensive care and found a new family in the United Hatzalah family, a family of supportive and helping angels and that is what gives me the strength to go through this difficulty”.

Please help us help this incredibly dedicated volunteer and her family, during her time of need. Anything you do would be so appreciated.
