Alex Katz's Campaign

Join me in raising funds and awareness for United Hatzalah of Israel. I am doing this in recognition of United Hatzalah Jerusalem.

Message to sponsors:

During the second lockdown in Israel last summer, I decided to use my time productively and train to become an EMT.  Joining United Hatzalah just prior to Rosh Hashana last year was very meaningful for both me and my family.  Looking back on my first year, having responded to approximately 500 emergency calls, vaccinating over 3500 individuals, and joining the IDF reserves as a medic, I can say it has been a resounding success.

As both a donor and volunteer, I have a unique perspective and insight into the importance of supporting this amazing organization.  Within seconds, I can respond to a call with nearly all the life saving equipment one would find on a traditional ambulance, and this service is entirely cost-free to the patient.

I welcome everyone to take an active part in the important mitzvah of savings lives.  In the meantime, my hope is that you and your loved ones never needs our help.  I have opened this new, ongoing campaign to gradually raise funds toward an ambulance for our neighborhood in Jerusalem to further cut back on local response times and provide immediate, free, hospital transport.
