Michael Littenberg-Brown

Michael has been working in the non-profit space for over 10 years. He sits on the Board of the Council of Young Jewish Presidents and was listed in 2013 as one of the 36 Under 36 by The Jewish Week. He received his BA from Brown University and MA from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA).
Jason Katz
Regional Development Officer,

Jason received his BA in Individualized Studies with a concentration in Business from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He teamed up with NBA superstar Amar’e Stoudemire to help save lives in Israel during the 2015 NBA season. Jason now works as a fulltime fundraiser, runs the MyMitzvah Campaign site, and works with B’nei Mitzvah to raise funds for lifesaving medical equipment in Israel.

Robin graduated from CUNY Queens College with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Business, with Honors. She has worked as a Chaplaincy intern at North Shore Hospital, and a teacher at the Torah Learning Center in Great Neck. She is passionate about United Hatzalah’s mission to save lives regardless of race or religion.
Cari Margulis Immerman

Cari has extensive experience in brand marketing, Fortune 500 consulting, and resource development. She’s raised over $20 million for Israel the last 5 years, is a graduate of the national Wexner Leadership Program, and member of the Lions of Judah. A graduate of the University of MIchigan, she resides in Shaker Heights, Ohio.
Gavy Friedson
Deputy Director of
International Operations
Gavy has been saving lives since the age of fifteen. In the course of twelve years on the job, Friedson has distinguished himself through more than 9,000 emergency calls, ranging from acute medical crises to multiple casualty events. He has been first medic on the scene at a number of terrorist attacks during his years as a first responder. He spent most of his life volunteering with all of Israel’s rescue agencies, and recently returned to the United States to help expand United Rescue’s operations. He is responsible for helping in identifying additional United Rescue locations and emergency programs. Gavriel Friedson, who served in the elite Nahal Infantry Brigade and served in the Spokesperson’s Unit of the IDF, holds a Master’s degree in Public Health specializing in Emergency and Disaster Management from Tel Aviv University.

Maya is a political science graduate from Vassar College, with a background in non-profits, student government, and think tanks. A lover of travel and debate, Maya fought against BDS while in college and is a staunch advocate of intersectional development practices.

Michelle received her BA in Economics with honors from CUNY Queens College. Her intense love for Israel, combined with her desire to do good in the world is what drives her work for United Hatzalah.
Michael Yudien

Events Coordinator
Michael Yudien received his BA with a double major in Marketing and Management with a focus in leadership. He cares deeply about teamwork and how it influences our world, which is something that is distinct to how United Hatzalah functions. Michael started with United Hatzalah in 2014, working on their marketing and communications. As a fundraiser, Michael hopes to help continue spreading the United Hatzalah message.
Josh Cerf
Regional Development Officer
After working as a volunteer firefighter and EMT during college in upstate New York, Josh continued to work in public service professionally on a 911-contracted ambulance in Santa Barbara County, California. Now five years later, while he no longer works on an ambulance, his love for emergency medical services has not diminished, but rather pivoted. On a trip to Israel with his older brother a few years ago, he was introduced to United Hatzalah and enthusiastically became involved with the organization via two successful fundraisers in L.A.
Adir L. Cohen

Adir was born in Jerusalem and moved to the United States at an early age, eventually returning to live in Tel Aviv after graduating with a degree in Human Services from State University of New York. Adir is thrilled to be part of such an amazing organization which feels like a family – committed to saving as many lives in Israel as possible.

Rachel received her BA in Violin Performance from Brandeis University. She manages the internal operations and accounts for United Hatzalah’s New York office.
