President and Founder of United Hatzalah Eli Beer said: “United Hatzalah volunteers across the country were instructed to bring their emergency medical equipment to shul with them so that they would be able to respond faster to medical emergencies. Many volunteers rushed out of prayers to treat the injured and sick across the country. In addition, our Muslim volunteers staffed ambulances and assisted with any medical emergency in their vicinity. Additionally, our teams in Uman and Kyiv responded to dozens of medical emergencies in their cities as well over the course of the holiday.”
