About
Dr. Lynn and Paul Leight founded the Leight L’Dor V’Dor Initiative with two things in mind – to teach the joy of giving, and to share their love of Israel, with the next generation of Jewish kids and teens.
Through their own struggles and hardships, the Leights learned the importance of giving to others. After working their way to financial success, the Leights dedicated themselves to living this lesson through a lifetime of charitable giving and support for Israel.
Several years ago, the Leights learned the life-saving story of United Hatzalah, and donated their first ambucycle, and have since become among the organization’s most committed supporters.
Through United Hatzalah, they discovered the impact of saving even one life. With six grandchildren, they wanted to ensure that the next generation of Jewish children would learn a love of giving, and a love for Israel – so they created the Leight L’Dor V’Dor Initative. The program provides real life-saving skills and experiences that deepen the next generation’s connection to Israel and joy of philanthropy – all through the lens of United Hatzalah.
