Running to save lives
Message to sponsors
I am as surprised as I am excited to be running the Jerusalem Half Marathon for United Hatzalah this year. Hatzolah is a donor funded organization dedicated to saving lives in Israel (and around the world).
Hatzalah Israel responds to 2,000 emergency calls a day throughout Israel in 3 minutes or less (I don’t suggest you test it out but it is remarkable to see!). With over 7,000 volunteers (of whom I am one :)), United Hatzalah is the country’s only free EMS organization. Not only that,
Hatzalah also run community programs such as “ten kavod” (which is where I come in) caring for fragile community members to help prevent a decline in the condition of their health. Hatzolah equips all its volunteers with full medical kits so that they are ready to help in any situation. The least I can do is fundraise to cover the cost of just one of those kits
However, I can’t do this without your support, so please, click on the donate button and let’s do this together! Thank you!!

About United Hatzalah of Israel
United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 8,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.
