Running in memory of Viviane Hallak
Message to sponsors
As the year of mourning for my beloved mother-in-law, Viviane Hallak, comes to an end next month, I asked myself of what better way is there to remember her than to give back to an organization that is directly involved with the task of saving lives. It is a theme that Viviane lived her whole life, giving to others, thinking of others, loving others. Viviane pushed herself to the limits demanding much of herself as well as from others without compromise. During the past nine months I have been pushing myself to new limits in my running routine getting into shape for the Jerusalem half-marathon (21.1 km). This will be my fourth marathon run. This year I am dedicating my half-marathon run to the memory of Viviane Hallak because much of my ability to push beyond my limits, both in running and in my life, is due to her. When I feel the pain of going beyond my endurance limits I will be thinking of her and it will give me strength. I am looking for partners in my cause who feel the way I do about Viviane and her life and want to give a donation to an organization that also pushes itself beyond its limits in literally saving the lives of thousands of people and in so doing gives them back their lives. All donations are worthy. Pick one below or donate cash by pressing the link above and accept my deepest thanks in advance.
