Bella Ross Dobuler was a cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother - beloved as “Bubby” by all who knew her. When two of her three children and their families made Aliyah, Bella’s connection to Israel grew even stronger.
Her commitment to her family was legendary. Bubby rarely missed a simcha, a brit, a first chumash party, a play or a holiday. Always giving care and concern for each child and unconditional love, which was returned to her a hundredfold.
Bella was a charitable giver. Her mail brought dozens of letters of thanks for her support and solicitations from other worthy Jewish causes and organizations.
Bella’s passing just before her 98th birthday dealt a devastating blow to all who knew and loved her.
Bubby’s love of life and devotion to Israel prompted her family and friends to partner with United Hatzalah to dedicate an Ambucycle in her memory. This ambitious project appropriately reflects Bella’s values, and would be a source of great merit for her soul.
United Hatzalah urgently needs more lifesaving emergency vehicles — many were severely damaged in the war zone, and others are being used by IDF soldiers. Acquiring emergency response vehicles for United Hatzalah is critical in order to save lives when minutes count.
