Wherever we stand we stand with Israel. We've spent lots of happy times there together too. We are devastated by Hamas's barbaric terrorist attack and are grieving for the 900+ precious lives lost, the hostages in Gaza, kibbutzim destroyed and all the pain and uncertainty that will continue to follow. Despite our grief, we remain inspired and motivated by Israel's strength, courage and resilience. On Saturday we witnessed that bravery in action as Hatzalah volunteers, IDF soldiers and everyday heroes went into harm's way while terrorists were still on the loose to rescue and treat the injured. We are eager to bring our families and communities together to help support Hatzalah's life-saving work on the ground with the purchase of a new ambulance. Hatzalah is a community based volunteer organization of emergency medics with an average response time of three minutes or less. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those mourning, the hostages, the brave IDF soldiers, volunteers on the front lines protecting our people, and the heartbroken global Jewish community. United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 7,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.
All donations made to a MyMitzvah campaign will be allocated toward the specific campaign goal, upon completion of said campaign. Donations to campaigns that do not reach their goals, will go toward the lifesaving activities of United Hatzalah.
