Support United Hatzalah
PJECC + United Hatzalah
Help us raise funds for a Minilance!
Raised: $ 13,908
Goal: $ 46,000Message to sponsors
This past month we have come together as a community in so many important ways, raising funds and donations for those affected by the October 7th attacks in Israel. In this spirit of giving, we’re coming together as a community once again to support an important organization whose work saves lives in Israel every day. United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer emergency medical service (EMS) organization that provides the fastest emergency medical service throughout Israel, and they do it completely free of charge. Their goal is to provide immediate lifesaving medical intervention during the critical window between the onset of an emergency and the arrival of traditional ambulance assistance. Chabbad of Pacific Palisades and the PJECC communities (supported by the PJECC Room Parents) are proud to partner with United Hatzalah to raise $46,000 to purchase a “Mini-Lance,” an electrical smart-car that allows two responders to travel together inside metropolitan areas providing fast EMS response. The Mini-Lance will contain a full complement of medical equipment appropriate for the level of the responder driving it. EMTs will carry a basic life support (BLS) pack, while volunteer paramedics and doctors will carry advanced life support (ALS) packs in the trunk. Please help us support this critical, lifesaving, community-based work, and reach our goal by Giving Tuesday (Nov 28)!

About us
United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 7,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.
