In celebration of my bar mitzvah, please join me in raising funds for United Hatzalah's Operation Orange Wings, an emergency mission to provide safe passage, medical aid, psychotrauma treatment and humanitarian support to the people of Ukraine and to refugees fleeing Ukraine.
United Hatzalah's Efforts to Aid Ukrainians and Ukrainian Refugees:
United Hatzalah is actively working at several sites in Moldova, where more than 250,000 refugees have already crossed the border. United Hatzalah has sent highly trained medics and doctors to provide medical care and psychological support to refugees fleeing Ukraine and has set up field hospitals, humanitarian tents, and soup kitchens. United Hatzalah has chartered over 25 flights from three countries to bring supplies to civilians fleeing the war and has transported more than 2,500 refugees to safety in Israel.
As the war crisis evolves, United Hatzalah is responding with a focus on sending cargo flights to bring urgently needed food, medication, and humanitarian supplies into Ukraine via Moldovan, Slovakian, and Polish borders. United Hatzalah is also using ambulances to evacuate babies, the injured, cancer patients, and vulnerable Holocaust survivors from within the Ukraine War Zone.
