Message to sponsors:

Last Wednesday, after (Ema/Aunt) Carrie learned that Savta might be discharged, she made several phone calls to arrange an ambulance to take her home, all of which produced no results. She then called Moshe Yechiel Arieli, her grandson, who volunteers for United Hatzalah and shared the situation with him. Within 10 minutes, Moshe Yechiel called back to tell her that he had arranged for both an ambulance and a driver. Within those few minutes, with amazing s'yata dishmaya, he met the person in charge of assigning ambulances and our friend, Avi Steinhart, whom he hadn't seen in many months. He was told that an ambulance would be available and that Avi could drive it. Unbelievable !! Savta was brought home shortly before Shabbat by Avi and another volunteer, both of who treated her with utmost care and sensitivity, bringing her into her apartment and gently getting her into her bed. They eached asked Savta for a bracha which she gave them immediately.

Savta's children - Ronnie, Carrie & Batsheva - all agree that United Hatzalah deserves our hakarat hatov for their generosity and chessed. We have decided to donate a Trauma Medical Kit to be used by their volunteers when responding to a medical emergency. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to enable this donation and add to our t'fillot for Savta's refuah sheleimah.
