Michael has been working in the non-profit space for over 10 years. He sits on the Board of the Council of Young Jewish Presidents and was listed in 2013 as one of the 36 Under 36 by The Jewish Week. He received his BA from Brown University and MA from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA).

Robin graduated from CUNY Queens College with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Business, with Honors. She has worked as a Chaplaincy intern at North Shore Hospital, and a teacher at the Torah Learning Center in Great Neck. She is passionate about United Hatzalah’s mission to save lives regardless of race or religion.

Sara graduated with a BA in Philosophy and Art History from Hunter College in Manhattan. When introduced to United Hatzalah by a friend, she was immediately drawn to its mission and pluralist approach to saving lives. She is so happy and honored to be a part of the New York team and loves supporting United Hatzalah’s lifesaving work in Israel and beyond.

Born in Los Angeles to Iranian- Jewish parents Dorene grew up in a Zionist home which instilled the love and passion for Torah and Israel. She is particularly passionate about educating the world on the beauty of Israel and the importance of keeping the Jewish people united. She graduated with a BA in Business with an emphasis in financial planning. With her previous involvement with FIDF, AIPAC and now United Hatzalah she has created national events raising over 10 million a year to ensure Israel’s safety.

Jason received his BA in Individualized Studies with a concentration in Business from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Wanting to make a difference in the world, he started at United Hatzalah of Israel by teaming up with NBA superstar Amar’e Stoudemire to help save lives in Israel during the 2015 NBA season. Since then, Jason has helped launched the organization’s MyMitzvah website, a crowdfunding project that allows families, communities, and B’nei Mitzvah to raise funds collectively for lifesaving medical equipment in Israel and see the impact of their giving directly. Working now as the Major Gifts Officer in the New York area, Jason is hard-set on continuing to grow organizational support and make a tremendous difference in Israel. He currently resides in Teaneck, NJ with his wife, Rebecca, two children, Sophie and Ella, and dog, Lucy.

Gavy has distinguished himself through more than 9,000 emergency calls and has spent most of his life volunteering with all of Israel’s rescue agencies. He served in the elite Nahal Infantry Brigade and served in the Spokesperson’s Unit of the IDF.

Michelle’s intense love for Israel, combined with her desire to do good in the world is what drives her work for United Hatzalah for the past four years. Michelle received her BA in Economics with honors from CUNY Queens College.

Michael Yudien received his BA with a double major in Marketing and Management. He cares deeply about teamwork. Michael started with United Hatzalah in 2014, working on their marketing and communications.

Prior to United Hatzalah, Danielle worked for News Deeply and spent 4 years at Ogilvy as a Program Manager for the IBM Latin America account. Danielle earned an M.A. in International Education at NYU, with a focus on Immigration and Cultural Studies. She obtained her B.A. from Mount Holyoke College with a major in International Relations.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Carolyn has over ten years of experience in the non-profit space and has helped raise over $45 million for Israel. After earning a BS in Business, BA in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work at USC, she began her illustrious career with a focus on Tikkun Olam, repairing the world. Carolyn was born to Iranian-Jewish parents who instilled in her a deep appreciation for Jewish values, tradition and identity. She is particularly passionate about making the world a better place than it was when she found it, and working to secure the State of Israel.

Prior to United Hatzalah, Brad Yellen worked as a Regional Director for film producer and educational organization, Jerusalem U and JAM. Both organizations brought the beauty of Israel and Judaism to college-aged students. Brad is a Minnesota native and a graduate of Carleton College. He subsequently spent 8 years in Jerusalem in which time he received his Rabbinic Ordination.

Originally from South Florida, Ben graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a BA in Multimedia. He moved to Manhattan 5 years ago and previously had been working in higher education at Hunter College, as well as pursuing a Masters Degree in Education. Now, he’s excited and passionate about helping save lives in Israel!

Previously served as Director of Leadership Development and Director of Alumni Relations, Chai Lifeline and Director of Community Impact, Jewish Federation of Monmouth County. Education- MA in Diplomacy and International Relations, Seton Hall University -- BA in Political Science and Media Studies, City University of New York- Queens College. Currently lives in Teaneck, NJ with husband Daniel and three kids, Julia, Chloe, and Emil.

Assaf has been working in the not-for-profit sector for over 25 years, during which he managed the fundraising operations of Four large national UK charities. He studied Hotel Management at the Technion and prior to that served in the IDF and at the Prime Minister’s Office. Assaf is responsible for all UH activities in Great Britain.

Pippa has spent twelve years in the communications industry, supporting a wide variety of organisations from entrepreneurial start ups through to large corporates. She has a BSc in Psychology from Bristol University and prior to starting her studies, spent a year in Israel volunteering in cities around the country.

Originally from Colombia, Andrea is a professional with 5+ years of communication, media and client relations experience with an undergraduate degree in Journalism from Centennial College. Andrea is passionate about giving back to the community and is deeply committed to her Jewish values. Prior to United Hatzalah Andrea freelanced as a PR Coordinator in Latin America and worked at Soho House group for three years – Andrea is responsible for all the UH activities in Canada.

Shani was born and raised in Belgium, made aliyah to Israel where she earned a BA in communications from Bar-Ilan University. After moving to Toronto, Canada she started her career in sales and marketing. Shani has always had a passion for helping people and with her background will help the Canadian United Hatzalah team further expand their presence across the country.
