Please join us in this special fundraising campaign in honor of terror victim Yoni Jesner who was killed in a suicide bombing on a bus in Tel Aviv, Israel, on 19th September 2002. Yoni’s legacy as a compassionate and caring individual continues to inspire us and we invite you to join us in raising money for a new ambucycle in his memory, ensuring that our life-saving efforts in his name can continue to thrive.
Back in 2016, thanks to the incredible support of generous donors like you, an ambucycle was donated in Yoni’s memory that was affectionately called “Bikey McBikeface”, a name chosen by the donors themselves. This remarkable vehicle has been on the road for seven years and has played a pivotal role in countless medical emergency responses and has helped saved many lives. However, as time goes on, Bikey is starting to show signs of age, making it crucial for us to replace it with a new ambucycle that will maintain our unwavering commitment to prompt and effective emergency medical care.
Your support can make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need of immediate medical assistance. By donating to this campaign, you will enable us to acquire a state-of-the-art ambucycle equipped with top-of-the-line medical equipment, ensuring that we can continue to provide the fastest medical response possible to communities across Israel. Together we can make a greater impact. No matter the size of your contribution, every donation matters and brings us closer to our goal. Each person that donates will be able to submit a name for consideration of what to call the new ambucycle.
Your generosity will help us honor Yoni’s memory and empower us to save lives in his name. We will keep you updated on the progress of the campaign and impact of your contribution through our social media platforms.
Thank you for being an essential part of our life-saving mission.

Founded in 2006, United Hatzalah has grown to become the largest independent, non-profit, nationally recognized and fully-volunteer emergency medical services (EMS) organization in Israel, responding to over 2,000 emergency calls a day. United Hatzalah's 6,500 medics, paramedics, and doctors create a web of emergency first responders, each connected to a GPS-based dispatch system which, together with our innovative transportation solutions, provides lifesaving aid faster than any other EMS organization in the world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
United Hatzalah has democratized access to emergency medical services by providing its services free of charge and has improved victim outcomes by getting first responders to the scene of an emergency three times faster than an ambulance. Our volunteers, spotted at every medical emergency, have been dubbed 'Angels in Orange' after their trademark orange vests.
