Donate to United Hatzalah to Save Lives in Israel
United Hatzalah’s 8,600+ volunteer medics respond to a medical emergency in Israel every 43 seconds — completely free of charge to the patient. Every donation directly funds the equipment, training, and technology that gets a trained responder to someone’s side within minutes, often before an ambulance can arrive. Why Donate to United Hatzalah
United Hatzalah holds a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator and the Midot Seal of Effectiveness, Israel’s leading nonprofit accountability certification. More than 85% of every dollar raised over the past three years has gone directly to lifesaving operations: training volunteers, equipping medics, and running the 24/7 dispatch center that coordinates over 2,000 emergency responses a day. Your donation is tax-deductible in the US, UK, Israel, Canada, Australia, France, and Switzerland, and you’ll receive a receipt based on the currency in which you donate.
What Your Donation Provides
Every gift is tied to something real. A $135 donation provides a set of EpiPens for anaphylactic emergencies. $360 equips a volunteer with a lifesaving oxygen kit used more than 600 times a day across Israel. $2,500 funds a defibrillator that gives a cardiac arrest patient another chance at life. $36,000 funds a full ambucycle, the motorcycle ambulance that lets volunteers bypass traffic and reach patients in minutes. Whatever you give, you’ll know exactly what it made possible.
Give Once, or Become a Monthly Lifesaver
A one-time gift meets an urgent need today. A monthly gift sustains United Hatzalah’s ability to train new volunteers and maintain its fleet all year round – and gifts made in the program’s first year are matched up to $120,000 annually. You can also become a volunteer yourself, sponsor a Day of Lifesaving in honor of someone, or give in memory of a loved one.
Yes. Donations made in USD, GBP, CAD, AUD, EUR, or CHF are tax-deductible and receive the applicable local tax receipt based on the donation currency (EUR donations receive a French donation receipt). ILS donations receive an Israeli tax receipt (Section 46) approximately one month later.
