United Hatzalah Mourns the Loss of a Beloved Member of our Orange Family
In Memory of Chemi Erlanger z״l
Today we lost a true hero—a volunteer who always gave far beyond what was required and devoted his life, time, and energy to saving lives. Chemi Erlanger z"l was killed by a reckless driver while riding his ambucycle home from his IDF base, on his way to celebrate Chanukah with his beloved family.
A member of the organization’s Ambucycle Unit from the Harish Branch, a devoted husband and father of five, Chemi was a true baal chesed who saw holiness in the simplest acts of kindness.
This is an incomprehensible tragedy, and while our hearts are broken, we and all of our 8,000 volunteers embrace his dear family during these painful moments. His memory and his legacy will remain with us always.
To support Chemi’s family during this time, please consider making a donation in his memory.
