United Hatzalah has mobilized all 7,000 of its volunteers and dispatched over 120 rescue vehicles to Israel’s southern region. Inside the communities, our heroic volunteers are responding to calls in their own neighborhoods, ensuring civilians receive the emergency medical treatment they need, often under heavy gunfire, at risk to their own lives. Our backup medic teams from around the country are treating the injured as they are rescued from the fighting zones and transporting them to hospitals via our ambulances and helicopters. Our brave volunteer medics have left their spouses, children, parents, siblings and more, to serve on the front line and protect the lives of Israel’s citizens during this turbulent time.
We must ensure they are equipped with vital medical equipment and protective gear, dispatch capabilities, and more, to enable them to save lives as the war persists.
