As has become a tradition for me, I am once again running in the Jerusalem Marathon. I began with the 10k, moved on to the half marathon last year, and this year I’ve signed up to take on the full marathon.
At every stage of this journey, I’ve used my running to raise funds for Hatzalah, and this year is no different. Our bodies are remarkably resilient, but injuries can still happen—and when they do, rapid treatment is essential to prevent further harm. That’s why it’s so important to support the people who are always among the first to respond when help is needed.

About United Hatzalah of Israel
United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 8,600 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With our unique dispatch technology, innovative rapid response vehicles, and community-based volunteer network, our 8,600 volunteers - medics, paramedics, nurses, midwives and doctors - arrive to emergencies within minutes, and our goal is to arrive at any emergency across Israel in 90 seconds.
