United Hatzalah of Israel has partnered with Lahak Aviation to form the UH Air Medical Unit. Our 2 helicopters are outfitted with state-of-the-art medical equipment that can save and transport critically injured patients from remote areas to hospitals in 6 minutes. Since October 7th, the UH Air Medical Unit has transported a dozen patients to hospitals around Israel, and we need more support to ensure that we can continue transporting patients and saving lives. UH’s helicopters can accommodate the transportation of multiple patients simultaneously, which is crucial for mass casualty incidences, including this war against Hamas.

With our unique dispatch technology, innovative rapid response vehicles, and community-based volunteer network, our 8,600 volunteers - medics, paramedics, nurses, midwives and doctors - arrive to emergencies within minutes, and our goal is to arrive at any emergency across Israel in 90 seconds.
