SF Fundraiser to Save Lives & Protect Israel’s Responders

Our community may be dispersed, but we have an extraordinary ability to come together when it truly matters.
Join our San Francisco Jewish community to support medical first responders in Israel who are working 24/7 to save lives.
We are raising funds for United Hatzalah and ask that everyone donate a suggested amount of $108, a multiplier of חי (Chai, or life). All funds raised for United Hatzalah will be used to donate equipment to their 7,000 volunteers, including protective vests, helmets, defibrillators, oxygen tanks, and medical gear. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 8,600 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With our unique dispatch technology, innovative rapid response vehicles, and community-based volunteer network, our 8,600 volunteers - medics, paramedics, nurses, midwives and doctors - arrive to emergencies within minutes, and our goal is to arrive at any emergency across Israel in 90 seconds.
