I need your help! Leight Legacy Heroes and I are raising funds for United Hatzalah. This incredible non-profit has revolutionized emergency medical care in Israel through its all-volunteer medical corps and its Start-Up-Nation-worthy logistics innovations. UH’s medical volunteers are equipped to respond to emergencies within 90 seconds, saving thousands of lives by stabilizing patients before the arrival of ambulances. The model has been so successful that many other countries are adopting this approach to emergency response including the U.S., Ukraine, England, India, and Mexico.
My goal is to raise at least $1,800 for United Hatzalah. This will cover the cost of providing the RugGear Communication Device to another medical volunteer. These devices enable UH dispatchers to locate, alert, and direct the closest available responders to the scene of an emergency within seconds. Their push-to-talk feature ensures faster communication, they withstand all weather and use abuse, come fully loaded with specialized GPS apps, and offer video interface from emergency scenes in real time.
