My mother, of blessed memory, lived a life defined by giving. She gave her time, her strength, and her heart to others always putting people in need before herself. Chesed wasn’t something she did occasionally. It was who she was.
That same spirit is what drives me as a volunteer with United Hatzalah myself. Every call we answer, every life we touch, is built on the same foundation she lived by: caring and being there for others .
This day is not just symbolic; it is active, real impact. Every donation will go toward supporting the lifesaving work that allows volunteers like myself to reach people quickly, prepared, and ready to help.
Through this, her legacy continues. not just in memory, but in action. In every response, every patient, every life we are able to help, her influence lives on. Forever and ever.

United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 8,600 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With our unique dispatch technology, innovative rapid response vehicles, and community-based volunteer network, our 8,600 volunteers - medics, paramedics, nurses, midwives and doctors - arrive to emergencies within minutes, and our goal is to arrive at any emergency across Israel in 90 seconds.
