Dear Friends, My name is Avraham Nissan. I am a volunteer medic for United Hatzalah, the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer emergency medical service (EMS) organization that provides the fastest emergency medical service throughout Israel completely free of charge. I have been volunteering there for the past 8 years. I’m married to my wife Moran and we have 3 children: Daniel, Ariel & Shira. I aim in this campaign to raise donations to launch a new unit of Heavy Ambucycles, fully-equipped motorcycles that can arrive to a scene faster than cars. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 8,600 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With our unique dispatch technology, innovative rapid response vehicles, and community-based volunteer network, our 8,600 volunteers - medics, paramedics, nurses, midwives and doctors - arrive to emergencies within minutes, and our goal is to arrive at any emergency across Israel in 90 seconds.
