On Friday, June 13, 2025, Israel launched Operation Am KeLavi (“Nation Like a Lion”) to address
the existential threat of a nuclear Iran. Since then, ballistic missiles and drones have rained down
on Israel’s cities, so far claiming the lives of at least fourteen people and wounding several
hundred more ― including children and senior citizens.
As United Hatzalah’s brave volunteers venture into the battlefield of buildings reduced to piles
of rubble and civilians screaming for help, we are dependent on the generosity of our donors to
make sure they are properly equipped to keep Israel’s Home Front safe and strong in this time of
fear and uncertainty.

United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 8,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas.
