United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, volunteer-based EMS organization in the country, providing free, rapid emergency medical response to all people regardless of race, religion, or nationality. With over 8,000 volunteers and innovative GPS technology, they maintain an average response time of under 3 minutes nationwide. Their mission is to deliver immediate, life-saving care until an ambulance arrives, significantly increasing survival rates.

United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 8,600 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With our unique dispatch technology, innovative rapid response vehicles, and community-based volunteer network, our 8,600 volunteers - medics, paramedics, nurses, midwives and doctors - arrive to emergencies within minutes, and our goal is to arrive at any emergency across Israel in 90 seconds.
