We are raising funds for desperately needed medical supplies and protective equipment for our volunteers and chayalim so that they can continue to save lives. As the current events in Israel have us all distraught, the thought of having a vort was unimaginable and insensitive. How could we possibly celebrate, while our brothers and sisters are being viciously attacked in Israel? On the other hand, not celebrating our engagement and showing Hashem our Hakaras Hatov would be giving into exactly what our enemies want. After much thought, we decided that we will use our vort to help out our brothers and sisters in Israel, while still bringing light to the darkness. As our first act of chessed as a couple, we kindly ask you to help us reach our goal and save lives across Israel. Any donation, no matter how big or small, makes all the difference in saving one life!

United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 8,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.
