Israel Needs our Help!
Message aux sponsors
Since the first attacks over Shabbat United Hatzalah volunteers have been right on the front lines treating injuries in the field, transporting people to hospitals, and trying to do what they do best – save lives. The numbers and the calls with their volunteers over the past few days have been harrowing and they have been burning through medical supplies and protective gear at an incredible rate.
As the war begins to escalate, they are now in dire need of support to replenish their supplies of critical medication and equipment. These supplies can be ordered and delivered over the course of the next week to ensure that UH volunteers have everything they need to respond to the ongoing attacks. As Israel’s largest national volunteer EMS organization, United Hatzalah is operating throughout Israel with ambucycles and 7,000 volunteers who respond to over 2,000 emergency calls a day, 24/7.
United Hatzalah needs to raise $20.3 million for protective vests and helmets, oxygen tanks, defibrillators, trauma bandages and tourniquets, helicopter transport for patients, purchasing vehicles that can transport patients and distribute supplies across the south, continuing a major field hospital and logistics center set up near the Gaza border.
United Hatzalah's Impact To Date:
1,500 volunteers in the southern region
25 ambulances on site
2 helicopters running med-evac missions
Over 400 people transported to hospitals in our ambulances
Treated over 2,000 people in the field
4 donateurs
