Oliver’s Bar Mitzvah Campaign to Save Lives in Israel
My Mitzvah - Lifesaving with United Hatzalah
Message aux sponsors
Mitzvahs are such a privilege to perform, but one seems like it would be amazing if you were able to do it even once in a lifetime. That mitzvah is to save a life. So paramount is this mitzvah that basically all mitzvahs are set aside to give priority to it. Yet while I may not be in the right place at the right time, or with the right skills or equipment, I know United Hatzalah volunteers are there every day saving lives. We can fulfill this mitzvah, each one of us, by partnering with United Hatzalah and giving their volunteers the equipment and supplies they need to save lives. I understand they will be graduating 1000 new volunteers to add to their existing 8000 volunteers and I want to be sure they have the necessary equipment. Please join me on my bar-mitzvah by supplying them with a Full medic kit ($5000), a Defibrillator ($2500), Protective Helmet and Vest ($1000), a Trauma kit ($360), or any amount and fulfill this mitzvah together with me. The images below feature some of the equipment.
United Hatzalah answers over 2000 medical emergency calls a day, helping all populations in Israel regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity. That is over 700,000 emergencies a year! The video on the page is a great introduction to this remarkable organization.
