Special Wheelchair for UH Volunteer’s Daughter
Help a Hero’s Daughter Get the Care She Desperately Needs with an Advanced Wheelchair
Let’s Help a United Hatzalah Hero
Dear friends,
I’m reaching out to you as someone who has had the privilege of working alongside the most selfless and devoted volunteers in the country.
One of those heroes is Galit C. — a volunteer EMT and a mother who has given so much of herself to save lives.
Today, she needs us.
Her 21-year-old daughter, who has cerebral palsy and a visual impairment, is completely wheelchair-bound. A basic scooter was all Galit could afford — but it’s now harming her daughter’s health. She’s rapidly losing mobility in her hands and urgently needs a proper medical-grade wheelchair.
The chair costs ₪30,000. With ₪5,000 covered by insurance, Galit still needs ₪25,000 — and the chair arrives in just a few weeks.
As if that weren’t enough, her daughter also suffers from PTSD. She was in Ofakim on October 7th, participating in a program with Kav Lachaim during Simchat Torah. She witnessed the atrocities of that day and lost friends to the massacre.
This is a mother who has spent years saving lives. Now, she’s fighting for her daughter’s health and dignity.
Let’s come together to support her and to show our gratitude for everything she’s done for others.
We are seeking partners to help raise the final ₪25,000 needed. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference.
With appreciation and thanks,
Eli Beer
