United Hatzalah’s 8,600 volunteer medics respond to more than 2,000 emergency calls across Israel every day — that’s one lifesaving response every 43 seconds. Embedded in communities nationwide, UH medics reach anyone, anywhere in the country, in an average of just three minutes, often arriving first on the scene when every second counts.
Whether reviving a heart attack patient in Holon, treating a car accident victim in Be’er Sheva, stabilizing a drowning victim in Eilat, or delivering a baby in Haifa, United Hatzalah volunteers are there in moments of crisis with immediacy, precision, and compassion.

United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 8,600 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With our unique dispatch technology, innovative rapid response vehicles, and community-based volunteer network, our 8,600 volunteers - medics, paramedics, nurses, midwives and doctors - arrive to emergencies within minutes, and our goal is to arrive at any emergency across Israel in 90 seconds.
