Hi, I’m Zipush.
This year, I am celebrating my Bat Mitzvah. Since I was little, I’ve always loved doing things with meaning. Last year, we celebrated birthdays for orphans, packed food for the needy at “Pantry Packers,” and distributed gifts to sick children. This year, I also began volunteering at “Beit Issie Shapiro,” a school for children with special needs.

For my Bat Mitzvah year, I looked for a truly significant challenge. I considered climbing Everest or swimming the Kineret, but I decided on something even bigger: I am going to save lives.

Did you know that United Hatzalah aims to reach every emergency within 90 seconds? In critical moments, time equals life. To achieve this, volunteers need to be fast and agile.

Why an Electric Bike? You might ask – why not a car or a regular ambulance? In city traffic, cars get stuck. An electric “Ambu-cycle” is a game-changer: it can navigate sidewalks, cut through narrow paths between buildings, and cross public parks. But these aren’t just wheels and pedals. This is a custom-made model designed to carry 30kg (66 lbs) of life-saving emergency equipment, including:

– An oxygen tank
– A defibrillator
– A full medic trauma kit

My goal is to raise 48,000 NIS. This amount covers the purchase of the heavy-duty e-bike, the full medical kit, plus maintenance and supplies for 3 years!
