A few years ago, I started running as a way to raise money to support United Hatzalah.
I never imagined where that decision would lead.
Somehow, my journey inspired both of my parents to begin training, and today they are volunteer medics with United Hatzalah, responding to emergencies and helping save lives across Israel.
Now I’m running the Jerusalem Marathon not just for myself, but for them and for the thousands of incredible volunteers who drop everything, day and night, to help anyone in need.

United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 8,600 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With our unique dispatch technology, innovative rapid response vehicles, and community-based volunteer network, our 8,600 volunteers - medics, paramedics, nurses, midwives and doctors - arrive to emergencies within minutes, and our goal is to arrive at any emergency across Israel in 90 seconds.
