Founder and President of United Hatzalah visited the family of Former Mayor and Founder of Yad Sarah, Rabbi Uri Lupolianski, Z”L. Rabbi Lupolianski was a cherished partner in our shared path. He was a man defined by kindness, generosity, action and a profound love of humanity.
Beer commented: “Rabbi Lupolianski was a pillar of Chesed and Ahavat Achim in Israel. He was a profound leader both as Mayor of the City of Jerusalem as well as founder of Yad Sarah. He transformed the ideals of mutual responsibility into daily acts of rescue, support, and hope for thousands of families. It was a distinct privilege of mine to know and respect him as a man who lived his entire life guided by a deep faith in the sanctity of life and in the obligation to help every person, without distinction. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his devoted children, who continue to follow in his legacy.”
Rabbi Lupolianski’s life’s work will continue to shine, inspire, and strengthen the mission of compassion and lifesaving for generations to come. May his memory be a blessing.
