Elijah Gerson’s Bar Mitzvah Fundraiser

Dear Friends and Family,
I hope you will consider making a donation to United Hatzalah of Israel in honor of me becoming Bar Mitzvah on November 4th.
I was planning to use the funds to buy a motorcycle and supplies for a volunteer to use. Now that there is a war in Israel, I have changed my plan. All the money I raise will go straight to the Emergency Campaign to buy more supplies to save people and soldiers injured in this war.
I picked this organization because it saves lives. I was in Israel this summer and visited the headquarters. I could see with my own eyes that United Hatzalah really does save lives 24/7. I was in the dispatch room, where they take all the emergency calls, and I saw that at that very moment they had at least 15 calls going on. While we were there, there was a big car accident near the headquarters and I saw volunteers run to help. I also met a volunteer who had just saved somebody’s life with an epipen. My goal is to raise $54,000.
