Elon Dershowitz Memorial Kindness Campaign
Message to sponsors
The entire United Hatzalah family is deeply saddened by the passing of Elon Dershowitz, son of Alan Dershowitz, our beloved friend and honorary board member.
Elon loved United Hatzalah.
He too was a life saver – as an organ donor – and believed in doing everything possible to save lives. Elon especially admired United Hatzalah’s ambucycles, and rode one in Jerusalem during a visit to our headquarters.
Elon was also a talented Hollywood producer, whose movies included the 1990 Oscar-winning Reversal of Fortune, starring Glenn Close and Jeremy Irons, which earned Irons an Academy Award for his performance in the film.
Known for his devotion to family, his sense of humor, and above all, his kindness, it is only fitting for Elon to have an Ambucycle dedicated in his name.
Please join our campaign to raise funds toward a United Hatzalah Heavy Ambucycle, which will be dedicated in loving memory of Elon. In this way, Elon’s spirit of kindness and caring for others will help save lives in Israel every day.
