Become our partners in saving lives. Tension in northern Israel is increasing. Now, more than ever, the United Hatzalah volunteers in Akko and the surrounding area need your support. Our team is on full alert in anticipation of a “northern front” developing in Iron Swords. If this happens, it will add significantly to our routine lifesaving activities. We need an emergency vehicle that will enable us to respond in Akko and throughout the area – a vehicle outfitted with advanced equipment; a vehicle that can reach the scene of an emergency immediately and start providing care even before an ambulance arrives. The 4X4 SUV can navigate difficult terrain and hard-to-reach places, including forests, deserts, and snowy areas, and can evacuate several casualties simultaneously. United Hatzalah volunteers in the Akko branch often operate in areas inaccessible to regular vehicles, providing medical assistance to hikers, soldiers, and people attending various outdoor events. We need an adequate SUV with off-road capability that will enable us to quickly reach the sick and wounded and evacuate them to an area where an ambulance can reach them. Your donation will help us save lives in Akko and the surrounding remote areas. This vehicle is rugged enough for mountainous areas; compact enough to drive in narrow spaces yet big enough to carry ambulance-quality medical equipment; and practical enough to function as a personal vehicle, so that a volunteer can use it on a daily basis but arrive immediately when called to the scene of an incident. At United Hatzalah Time = Life! Especially in the event of life-threatening injuries, every critical moment that is saved increases the chances of a person’s survival. Fortunately, our quick arrival has saved many lives. United Hatzalah volunteers from all shades of the Israeli spectrum – Jews, Arabs, Christians, and Druze – are trained to provide emergency medical treatment on site.
