Message to sponsors
Times in Israel right now are challenging to say the least. We are surrounded by sadness and fear, and collectively are praying for better days ahead. We, the Women’s Unit of United Hatzalah, have the pleasure of being part of the greatest revenge- bringing life into this world. We are a unit of female medics from all across the country who are dedicated to being there for others in their times of their greatest tragedy, or for their greatest joy. Our medics rush out of their homes at all hours of the day and night - whether it is a car accident, a miscarriage, a child choking, or a birth, we are there. Help us protect ourselves- so we can continue to put patients first. Help ensure our safety- so we can be there, to ensure theirs. Our unit is looking for donations that will go directly towards purchasing bullet proof vests and helmets for our medics- enable us to treat others, without the fear of being targeted ourselves.
About United Hatzalah of Israel
United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 7,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.
All donations made to a MyMitzvah campaign will be allocated toward the specific campaign goal, upon completion of said campaign. Donations to campaigns that do not reach their goals, will go toward the lifesaving activities of United Hatzalah.
