Message to sponsors
As you know, United Hatzalah holds a special place in our hearts. Every day, their incredible volunteer medics drop everything—whether it’s a day at work or a peaceful night’s sleep—to answer approximately 2,000 medical emergencies across Israel - with a less than 3 minute average response time! They are the heartbeat of emergency care, always ready to rush out and save lives at a moment's notice.
This Rosh Hashana, as we reflect on the past year and look toward the future, we are launching our Rosh Hashana Lifesaving Campaign once again. Our goal this year is to raise $36,000 to fund an Ambucycle, a critical tool that helps United Hatzalah volunteers reach emergencies swiftly and effectively. Unlike ambulances or cars, Ambucycles are never held up by traffic jams or narrow streets. Equipped with a specialized case to carry essential medical gear, they ensure the fastest response when seconds count the most.
In keeping with the spirit of this season of reflection and renewal, we are proud to dedicate this Ambucycle in memory of Paul’s dad, Ted. This is our way of honoring his legacy—through saving lives and giving the gift of time to those who need it most.
About United Hatzalah of Israel
United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 7,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.
All donations made to a MyMitzvah campaign will be allocated toward the specific campaign goal, upon completion of said campaign. Donations to campaigns that do not reach their goals, will go toward the lifesaving activities of United Hatzalah.
