Haire Family Fundraiser for United Hatzalah of Israel
Kacey and Althea are going to be running 5km and Steve is going to be running 10km at the Maccabi Fun Run this year. We'd love to raise some money for United Hatzalah of Israel as part of our efforts and support the incredible volunteer medics who work tirelessly to help others in medical need. Having been to the organisation's headquarters ourselves and seen it in action, we couldn't think of a better cause!
United Hatzalah of Israel's world-leading speed of response to medical emergencies really can be the difference between life and death. Any donation will make a huge difference from supporting the training of new volunteers through to the purchase of equipment from bandages to tourniquets to oxygen tanks and far more. Being from a medical family, we know how important all of these things are, and how much difference every pound can make to the delivery of services.

United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 8,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.
