Message to sponsors
Join us in honoring the memory of Joe Vaknen, a beloved friend, brother, uncle, and son, who tragically passed away this year at the age of 36. Joe was not only an amazing musician and member of the band The Perfect Mistake, but also a passionate supporter of the state of Israel.
To celebrate his life and legacy, we are hosting a special 20-year anniversary concert for The Perfect Mistake at the House of Independents in Asbury Park on August 29, alongside Five Foot Zero. This concert will be a heartfelt celebration of Joe and his incredible impact on our community.
In Joe's honor, we aim to raise funds to purchase an Ambucycle, a rapid response vehicle that will provide life-saving medical aid in Israel. Your support will help us ensure that Joe's legacy lives on through the lives saved by this vital medical resource.
Please join us in this meaningful cause and help us make a difference in Joe's memory.
Tickets are $36 - if you plan to attend, please include that your gift is for a ticket in the description.
Tickets will be sold at the door as well.
About United Hatzalah of Israel
United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 7,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.
All donations made to a MyMitzvah campaign will be allocated toward the specific campaign goal, upon completion of said campaign. Donations to campaigns that do not reach their goals, will go toward the lifesaving activities of United Hatzalah.
