Hi, my name is Raquel. For my bat-mitzvah project, I chose United Hatzalah because I think it’s a very cool concept. Ambulances can’t always get where they’re needed on time, and a few minutes can mean life or death. United Hatzalah ensures that people in Israel – no matter what religion they are – get the help they need, when they need it most.
I chose Flyover Canada tickets as a prize because the first time I took the ride, I was awestruck at how beautiful our country is. I love Canada, and love supporting Israel, and this brings everything together. Plus, you can get inspired by amazing adventures in the bestselling book, The Great Canadian Bucket List! It’s a falafel with maple syrup on top – what’s not to love?
When you donate, your name goes into a random draw and we’ll contact the lucky winner in June, 2026. A gift card with 5 tickets to Flyover Canada means the whole family can go! All donations automatically receive a Canadian tax receipt.
I am raising money for 3 Lifesaving Oxygen Kits and 2 Child Resuscitation Kits.
Thanks so much for helping my idea take off (and supporting such a worthy cause).
