Message to sponsors
Having witnessed firsthand the need for expert medical care in the pre-hospital setting, dedicated volunteers Dr. Yocheved Gensler M.D, and Dr. Shlomo Gensler M.D, have taken on the challenge of bringing advanced, bi-lingual critical care to the heart of Jerusalem. They bring to the field their invaluable expertises in obstetrics, gynecology, and anesthesia and critical care, respectively, in Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. Practicing in their respective fields of expertise, they will raise the level of care available to patients in labor and experiencing gynecological emergencies as well as those requiring intensive critical care at the scene of an emergency. Living in Ramat Eshkol, in the center of Jerusalem, the pair will serve the needs of many Hebrew as well as Anglo speakers in their times of need. They will be uniquely equipped to deliver sensitive and culturally informed care within their community. Join us as a partner in saving lives in the heart of Jerusalem, Israel, by bringing this project, a much-needed advance life support SUV, to life. Thank you!
About United Hatzalah of Israel
United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 7,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.
All donations made to a MyMitzvah campaign will be allocated toward the specific campaign goal, upon completion of said campaign. Donations to campaigns that do not reach their goals, will go toward the lifesaving activities of United Hatzalah.
