Message to sponsors
Dear Parents, Friends and Supporters –
Klal Yisrael has united to an unparalleled level over the last eleven days. The outpouring of tefillah and chessed has been incredible.
Many of you have asked how the Torah Day School community of students and parents can join together in support of Eretz Yisroel. Obviously, Tefillah and Torah learning are always the first step in our support. Today, we have a unique opportunity – to partner with United Hatzala – the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel.
A generous sponsor has agreed to match all Torah Day School donations – up to $18,000! So TOGETHER as a school, and alongside United Hatzala, we can raise “Double Chai” for our brothers and sisters in Eretz Yisroel. In the coming days we will be posting a “thermometer” in the lobby so the children can watch the progress of their campaign each and every day. We will also be providing prizes to the students as milestones are reached along the way.
Please join us in providing chizuk and support to Acheinu Bais Yisroel with this important campaign opportunity.
Rabbi Avi Pekier, Head of School
Rabbi Yehudah Abrams, Executive Director
Dr. Salomon Banarer, Board President
Sarah Mernick, PTA President
**We have just been informed that Baruch Shawel, one of the founding members of Chaverim here in Dallas, also works with United Hatzolah. Due to the war in Israel, he has been asked to join United Hatzolah in Eretz Yisrael to help our brothers & sisters at this time of crisis. Please join in davening that Baruch Nesanel Ben Golda should have tremendous Hatzlacha in his endeavors to help those he can and to return safely to his family here in Dallas.

United Hatzalah has more than 7,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.
All donations made to a MyMitzvah campaign will be allocated toward the specific campaign goal, upon completion of said campaign. Donations to campaigns that do not reach their goals, will go toward the lifesaving activities of United Hatzalah.
