Personal Armor for Lifesavers
Embrace a UH volunteer with a bulletproof hug
Message to sponsors
I was just down south at the United Hatzalah Casualty Collection Point (CCP) at Tzomet Chetzer with my old bulletproof vest and helmet. It is time to replace it. This is the helmet and vest I wore at the Friday night terror attack in my neighborhood in Neve Yaakov as well as at countless other terror attacks and other incidents. Unfortunately, the kit comes out of my car with some degree of frequency and after 6 years of use it is time to be replaced. If this campaign is successful I would like you to be my partners in bringing more sets of personal armor to my United Hatzalah colleagues in Neve Yaakov.
About United Hatzalah of Israel
United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 7,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.
All donations made to a MyMitzvah campaign will be allocated toward the specific campaign goal, upon completion of said campaign. Donations to campaigns that do not reach their goals, will go toward the lifesaving activities of United Hatzalah.
