Message to sponsors

My name is Robert Busch and I am looking forward to becoming a bar mitzvah in June of 2024. I would usually be working on a Tikkun Olam project (a mitzvah project to improve/repair the world) closer to my bar mitzvah date, but given the recent terrorist attacks, the people of Israel need support and I want to help save lives right now!

There are many ways to help, but I have chosen to fund raise for United Hatzalah, an Israeli volunteer emergency medical service (EMS) that helps people with emergency care regardless of their race, religion, or national origin. All money raised goes toward desperately needed supplies to provide volunteers with the equipment they need to save lives and the protective equipment to keep themselves safe.

About United Hatzalah of Israel

United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 7,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.

All donations made to a MyMitzvah campaign will be allocated toward the specific campaign goal, upon completion of said campaign. Donations to campaigns that do not reach their goals, will go toward the lifesaving activities of United Hatzalah.
