Message to sponsors
As Sholom's fifth Yartzheit approaches, we decided on a beautiful way to honor his memory. To dedicate a United Hatzalah Ambucar in his memory – to continue his legacy of being the first one to help whenever and wherever needed Imagine having a personal car with all the lifesaving equipment carried by an ambulance. That is the vision that drives the United Hatzalah Ambucar fleet. You never know when an emergency will happen. We want our United Hatzalah responders to be fully available with ALL the necessary equipment at ANY time! In ninety seconds, we want volunteers to have everything they need to save lives anywhere and everywhere in Israel. This was the life mission of our dear son and friend, Sholom Elazar Reches A"H. Sholom was always the first to run out to help save someone's life. Whether he was on a fire engine, in an ambulance, or in his own car, Sholom was always ready to help. Thank you in advance for partnering with us to carry on Sholom’s legacy.
About United Hatzalah of Israel
United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 7,000 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With the help of our unique GPS technology and our iconic ambucycles, our average response time is less than 3 minutes across the country and 90 seconds in metropolitan areas. Our mission is to arrive at the scene of medical emergencies as soon as possible and provide the patient with professional and appropriate medical aid until an ambulance arrives, resulting in many more lives saved.
All donations made to a MyMitzvah campaign will be allocated toward the specific campaign goal, upon completion of said campaign. Donations to campaigns that do not reach their goals, will go toward the lifesaving activities of United Hatzalah.
