On the 7th of October, we witnessed extraordinary courage from United Hatzalah’s volunteer medics. While others ran for safety, they ran towards danger – treating the wounded under fire and saving lives in unimaginable circumstances.
United Hatzalah is made up of trained volunteer first responders across Israel. They drop everything – work, family, daily life – the moment an emergency call comes in. Their rapid response model means help often arrives within minutes, and in trauma cases, minutes save lives.
We are raising £8,500 to sponsor a medic. This funding provides life-saving medical equipment, protective gear, communications technology and ongoing training to ensure a medic can respond quickly and safely to emergencies.

About United Hatzalah of Israel
United Hatzalah of Israel is the largest independent, non-profit, fully volunteer Emergency Medical Service organization that provides the fastest and free emergency medical first response throughout Israel. United Hatzalah’s service is available to all people regardless of race, religion, or national origin. United Hatzalah has more than 8,600 volunteers around the country, available around the clock – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With our unique dispatch technology, innovative rapid response vehicles, and community-based volunteer network, our 8,600 volunteers - medics, paramedics, nurses, midwives and doctors - arrive to emergencies within minutes, and our goal is to arrive at any emergency across Israel in 90 seconds.
